Prepare your documents first
An authorised person familiar with your company, ownership structure and business activities should coordinate the information.
Check that your company registration details, operating information and stakeholder information agree with one another before you start. Use this list to collect the materials in one place.
Document / information
What to prepare
Limits / notes
Account registration
Company name and registration country/region; contact person’s name, phone number and account email.
Follow the live registration page’s password requirements. The source does not specify a password policy.
Company registration certificate
Company registration document and the matching legal name, registration number, legal structure, validity dates and VAT or local tax number.
PNG / JPEG / JPG / PDF, up to 5MB. English source: page 2.
Proof of address
A utility bill, bank statement or government-issued correspondence dated within the last 3 months.
PNG / JPEG / JPG / PDF, up to 5MB. English source: page 3. The document must support the address entered.
Business and payment information
Industry (MCC), main products/services, expected monthly payment value and transaction count, website if applicable, sales channels, store address and customer service number.
Use your actual business information. The industry, amounts, transaction counts and addresses shown are examples.
Store photos
For an offline business: storefront, checkout counter, goods for sale and the store’s Google Maps listing.
PNG / JPEG / JPG / PDF; up to 5 photos. The English screenshot says 5MB; the Chinese screenshot says 2MB. Prepare files of 2MB or less where possible, and follow the current portal. See step 05.
Stakeholder details and ID
Name, date of birth, nationality, personal address, ID type, validity dates and the relevant identity document for each applicable person.
PNG / JPEG / JPG / PDF, up to 5MB. Select an ID type accepted by the current portal.
UBO statement
Obtain the applicable template from the portal or onboarding team, check the company and ownership information, and complete it as instructed.
To confirmThe source provides only a step heading, without a template, signing instructions or file limits.
Other applicable materials
Review the portal’s Additional information, Holding organization and Bank account sections.
To confirmThese sections appear in the menu, but their forms and full requirements are not shown.
Prepare readable files
Keep all text, document edges, dates, signatures and stamps clear and complete.
Open each file before uploading to check its contents and page count.
Check readability again after compression. Changing a file extension does not convert its format.
Use recognisable file names
A useful format is “Company_Document_Date”. Add the person’s name to individual ID files.
These are file-management suggestions, not mandatory portal naming rules.
Check the upload limit for each field. Both language versions show 5MB for company registration documents, proof of address and identity documents. Store-photo limits differ: 5MB in the English screenshot and 2MB in the Chinese screenshot. Preparing each store-photo file at 2MB or less is a practical suggestion, not a replacement for the current portal’s validation.

Check the country/region code and number, and make sure the responsible person can be reached.
Email address

Authority and terms
The registration declaration concerns your authority to act and sign for the company. If you do not have that authority, have the company identify an authorised person first.
To confirmThe source does not provide a verified registration URL or show email activation, SMS verification or the final registration button. Complete any such steps displayed by the live page; ask the onboarding team for the correct entry point when needed.
Before moving on: Company and contact details are correct; the email and phone are accessible; registration is complete and you can enter the merchant portal.

How to select it
Online
Online sales. The source does not show the form after selecting this option; follow the current portal’s requirements for websites, pages and supporting materials.
Offline
Sales through physical locations. The source shows the store-address, photo and service-phone fields for this option.
Both
Online and offline sales. Complete all relevant parts requested by the portal for both channels.
Prepare information for your physical store
Enter the actual store address, postcode, city and country/region. The screenshot asks for one of your store addresses; if you operate several stores, confirm whether further details are needed.
Prepare the photos below and check that they relate to the store entered.
Upload files in Store photos, then check the thumbnails, file count and upload results.
Enter an accessible customer service number with the correct country/region code.
01
StorefrontShow the merchant’s name and actual store address. At least one photo.
02
Checkout counterShow the counter and the store’s actual operating environment.
03
Goods for saleShow the products sold. Service businesses should confirm the appropriate equivalent.
04
Google MapsShow the store’s Google Maps listing. At least one screenshot.
The source annotation asks for four images: one storefront photo, one checkout-counter photo, one photo of goods for sale and one Google Maps listing screenshot. The portal text groups these as storefront, interior and Google Maps, with at least one of each; the annotation separates the counter and products into two photos. Up to 5 photos; clear colour images; PNG / JPEG / JPG / PDF.
The two source versions show different photo-size limits. The English screenshot above says maximum 5MB; the Chinese screenshot says 2MB. As a practical preparation target, keep each file at 2MB or less while preserving readability. The current portal’s upload validation and the onboarding team’s confirmation determine the applicable limit.
To confirmThe source does not explain alternatives for online-only businesses, unattended vending locations or stores without a Google Maps listing. Confirm suitable evidence with the onboarding team. Do not use another merchant’s photos or unrelated premises.
Before moving on: The sales channels are accurate, photos match the store address, files are clear and within the applicable limits, and the service number is correct.

The source page discusses legal representatives, ultimate beneficial owners and companies with an ownership interest. First prepare a list from your company records, then complete the applicable entries.
Role / term
Source wording and practical guidance
Legal representative
The English screenshot describes people who can sign documents on behalf of the business and refers to a representative over the age of 18. Confirm the applicable person and requirements against the company’s authorisation and the current portal.
Ultimate beneficial owner (UBO)
The English screenshot refers to anyone who owns 25% or more of the business. The Chinese version explicitly mentions direct or indirect ownership by a natural person. These are descriptions from the supplied interfaces, not a complete determination rule for every jurisdiction or form of control.
Holding organization
The English screenshot also requests information about an organisation holding 25% or more of the business. A separate menu section is visible, but its full form and document requirements are not provided.
Director
The next source step is titled “Upload director’s ID document”, but it does not explain role selection or how directors relate to UBO entries. A person is not automatically a UBO simply because they are a director.
List the relevant people and ownership relationships. Distinguish individuals from corporate shareholders, and set out each layer where ownership is indirect.
Open UBO, read the current instructions and select Add a UBO as applicable.
Complete the current form for each relevant person and check that all applicable people are covered.
If there are corporate shareholders, no person appears to meet the displayed ownership criterion, or a person has several roles, confirm the correct treatment using the portal guidance or onboarding team.
Do not simply omit the section if no person meets the displayed ownership criterion. The English screenshot refers to providing information on someone who can represent the business in the same capacity, described there as a “pseudo-UBO”. It does not show a complete procedure for choosing or recording that person. Confirm the appropriate person and role with the onboarding team.
Before moving on: Directors, representatives, UBOs and corporate shareholders are distinguished, the list is complete, and uncertain role classifications have been resolved.
07
Enter personal information and upload ID documents
The source calls this step “Upload director’s ID document”. Confirm the person and applicable role first. The heading is on page 4; the form is on page 5.
Follow the numbered markers and the guidance belowClick to enlarge ↗
1Enter the person’s informationMatch their name, birth details and personal address.
2Select and upload their IDCheck the type, dates and person to whom the file belongs.
3Complete PEP informationRead the current page’s definition and answer accurately.
Numbered markers are guide annotations. Do not copy the sample account data. Detailed field guidance follows below.
Field
How to complete and check it
First / middle / last name
Use the name on the identity document. The screenshot marks first and last name as required, but not middle name. If there is no middle name, follow the portal’s permitted treatment.
Date of birth / nationality
Match the person’s identity information and use the date format requested by the page.
Registration address
This is the English label shown within the person’s form. Complete that person’s address, postcode, city and country/region as requested; do not automatically copy the company address. The Chinese version labels the corresponding field as a residential address. Confirm with the onboarding team if the intended address is unclear.
Type of ID
Select the type matching the document you will upload. The English screenshot does not show a selected type; the Chinese example uses Passport. Neither establishes that only passports, or all types of ID, are accepted.
Valid date of ID/Passport
Check the start and end dates. Select Permanent only when this applies to the document and is permitted by the portal.
ID documents
PNG / JPEG / JPG / PDF, up to 5MB. Ensure the photograph, name, document number and validity details are readable. Follow the current requirements for which sides or pages must be uploaded.
PEP
PEP means politically exposed person. Answer according to the current page’s definition and the person’s actual circumstances. Use the information icon or ask the onboarding team if unclear. Do not select a negative answer merely to proceed. The English screenshot cuts off before showing all response options.
Practical tipWork through one person at a time: name → role → corresponding ID file. The source does not explicitly say that every director must provide ID and does not show the role-selection controls. Confirm the applicable people first.
Before moving on: Personal information matches the ID, the type and validity dates are correct, the file belongs to the current person, and the PEP answer is accurate.
08
Obtain and upload the UBO statement
The English source lists this step on page 5, without a template, form screenshot or detailed instructions.
Get started → Stakeholders → UBO statementStep 08 · Corresponding screenshotEnglish source · page 4

1Locate UBO statement in the sidebarThe main page shown is UBO information. This image locates the menu only; confirm the statement form, template and signing requirements after opening the actual section.
Numbered markers are guide annotations. Do not copy the sample account data. Detailed field guidance follows below.
To confirmObtain the applicable template before completing or signing it. The source does not identify the template, authorised signer, signature method, stamp requirements, acceptance of electronic signatures or file-size limits. The sequence below is preparation guidance; follow the onboarding team’s specific requirements.
Get the templateOpen UBO statement and read the instructions. If no usable template is provided, request the correct version from the onboarding team.
Check the informationComplete the company, personal and ownership/control details required by the template. Keep them consistent with the information already entered.
Complete and uploadFollow the confirmed signing, dating and stamping requirements. Upload according to the current page’s instructions and check the result.
Confirm these points together
Which template applies, and which fields are mandatory?
Who should sign? Are a date, company stamp or supporting attachments required?
Are scanned handwritten signatures or electronically signed files accepted?
How should several UBOs or multiple ownership layers be recorded?
What file formats, sizes and quantities are permitted?
Before moving on: The template and signature method are confirmed, the statement agrees with your application, and the completed file is uploaded as required.
✓
Check once more before you submit
Ticking this checklist only records your review progress in this guide. It does not submit anything to the merchant portal.
Checked 0 / 12 itemsOnly mark an item as not applicable after confirming it is not required.
Your ticks are saved only in this browser. Moving the file or changing browsers may not preserve them.
What happens after your review
Review every section. Completion marks in the menu are useful, but do not replace checking the actual documents, fields and system messages.
Use the submission action shown in the portal. The source does not show the final submission page, so this guide does not name an unverified final button or entry point.
Keep the submission result. Record the submission time, confirmation and application reference, if available. Follow the portal or onboarding team’s designated channel for updates.
Respond to requests for more information. Identify each field or document to be corrected, make the changes, and save or resubmit as instructed. Editing a file on your own device does not update the application.
Confirm the final outcome. Rely on an explicit portal status or notification from the onboarding team. The source does not provide a review timeframe, approval criteria or promise of payment-service activation.
?
Common questions
These are practical suggestions. Confirm exceptions through the portal or onboarding team.
What should I do if an upload fails?
Check the actual file format and size, then open it to confirm it is readable. Registration, address and ID documents are shown with a 5MB limit. Store-photo limits differ between the English and Chinese screenshots; prepare files at 2MB or less where possible and follow the current portal. If the problem continues, record the error text, affected section and file size, and contact “Chat with us” or the onboarding team.
What if I have no VAT number, no local postcode, or a field does not apply?
The source does not give default entries for these cases. Do not invent values or enter zero or sample numbers simply to proceed. Read the field help and confirm whether to leave it blank, use a local tax number or follow another approved treatment.
What if a name or address does not exactly match the document?
Check whether the difference is due to spelling, abbreviation, language or an actual change. Use the details on the identity or registration document. If a difference remains, prepare evidence explaining it and ask the onboarding team how to proceed. Do not alter a supporting document to create a superficial match.
What about online-only businesses, unattended locations or stores without a Google Maps listing?
The illustrated Business details form is for an offline store. Explain your sales model and operating location, then confirm which documents or alternative evidence apply. Do not supply store photos that do not represent your business.
Can I enter someone only once if they are the director, account contact and UBO?
A person may hold several roles, but the source does not say whether records can be reused or combined. Check each role required by the portal. Do not skip a required role or declaration merely because the name is the same.
Do ticks beside every section mean my account is approved?
No. Completing sections, submitting an application, receiving approval and having services activated are different milestones. Check the final status or formal notification.
Can I copy the dates, address, MCC or payment ranges in the screenshots?
No. These belong to an example account. Replace all of them with your company’s actual information. The example’s country/region, legal structure and payment ranges are not recommended selections.
